i've never seen any system that has anything like the silly schemas presented. government systems + retail banking systems have had to deal with transgender and other more difficult things for years anyway. the people who make these systems don't care -- they represent it in the most flexible way possible. so, the argument is really a philosophical rant hidden behind a set of silly straw man arguments.
