Genes, Denzels and Knowing 'Why?'
As a developer, I've been presented with a lot of different tasks. Too often, the tasks have been in the shape of a ready-made solution, essentially a prose version of the code I'm supposed to write. Very few of us enjoy just being told what button to push and when; we want to know why.
