The new platform war for the mobile market is very similar to the platform war of 1984 for the desktop OS. There is one key difference...Steve Jobs is sticking around for this one.

Good points, none of it relevant to the cell industry. But a good read if you DON'T have an IPhone ;)

Everything iPhone related is related to the cell industry, wouldn't you agree?

Mac-PC argument isn't. Reason is with different industries you need a different perspective. Cell phones are the one devices that always sucked. No one loves their phones. Saying this is "just like" the Mac-PC era is easy to say because of the players, but so different because of the scope.
