Monitoring, tracing, management, logging solutions are essential for any distributed systems, especially for grid computing product such as GridGain, as it is increasingly hard to observe and monitor systems like that. For us at GridGain project it was a clear "integrate with" decision rather than "build". We chose JXInsight as the first product for integration and it was probably the best decision we have made in this regard. It took us some time to crystallize tracing SPIs but once it was done JXInsight implementation fit like a glove.
