I have been thinking lately on how to improve our message. How to make it crisper. How to make it to describe our product in best way and in a short amount of words.

Anybody else notice how the same group of people vote for all these content-free GridGain articles and /only/ GridGain articles. I wonder if they are all the same guy? Unfortunately, this is becoming another form of spam and one that reduces the quality of the DZone information (which I find otherwise quite useful).

Hi Steve,
I'm pretty sure that most of the developers on our GridGain open-source project voted it up. I don't see anything wrong with that - we all want to see it promoted and get the word out. As far as content-free nature of mine or others' blogs - it's up to you. Remember, you have full freedom... not to read them :-)

Best,
Nikita Ivanov,

Yes, I have that choice but I continue to hope for GridGain articles with a little more meat to them. I'm actually interested in grid computing and distributed application frameworks and thoughtful comparisons between alternatives.

I understand the project team's desire for self-promotion, but you might find it can backfire if readers start feeling you are wasting their time. If the only people voting for the articles are the GridGain project team, that might be a hint.

Just a thought...

Good luck with the project.
