Every year, I go to JavaOne. Every year, I’m ashamed, embarassed, and apologetic about Sun’s message. Don’t get me wrong, I like Sun. I really truly honestly do. They have a whole lot of clever people, who can do awesome clever cool things. Sun however is much like King Midas, with shit instead of gold. They have an uncanny knack of hoisting aloft every little turd they find in the bowl, holding it up to the light and screaming gleefully that they have just discovered the answer to life, the universe, and everything.

I do enjoy your rantings, they are funny (and sometimes closer to the truth that scares the power that be). I did have to give you the big red down arrow on your post (I'm sure you really care). You are reminding me of George Carlin....when he starts to lose the attention of his audience, he starts putting out a crude curse word as every other word of his bit. The difference is: remove Carlin's crude words and he has not much substance. If we pulled away your excessive use of your potty mouth, you would still have some great insights that we would greatly enjoy! Maybe it is just an age thing and you will out grow it. I do love your posts, I just wish they could be PG-13 instead of NC-17 !!

I guess it's called the BileBlog for a reason, so I imagine he's not changing the approach. Yeah, not for me either; but if he gets readers, maybe that works for him.
