Both HashMap and LinkedHashMap are two common implementation of Map interface, apart from allow you to maintain bunch of mappings, LinkedHashMap offer something more over HashMap, it can maintain keys in a order they are inserted. Which means, if you take Iterator from keySet of HashMap, you can get keys in any order, because of no guarantee about iteration order but with LinkedHashMap you can iterate mappings in the order they are inserted.
