Give someone a mobile device for the holidays, and chances are it will be too big to fit in their stocking. Does anyone really want a phone this large?

While I prefer Nexus or Google Experience Android phones for the freedom and flexibility, they've become too big for my pocket. The Samsung Galaxy Nexus was the last one that comfortably fit. I want a smaller phone, so I switched to an iPhone 5s. I wanted to buy a smaller unlocked Android phone, but companies like Samsung use lower quality screens and components in the "mini" version of their phones. Personally, I'd like to see flagship-quality Android phones in the 4" to 4.3" size.
