Host Your Spatial Data in a PostGIS Database on OpenShift
This post shows how to convert data to GeoJSON and put it in into PostGIS, the spatial extension for PostgreSQL. We're making GeoJSON for use in D3, the excellent JavaScript library, since it can be imported and used without any further conversion.
