Very lousy article. It's in C, not C++, and it shows a topic that every freshman course covers, without ever generalizing.

If it's C++, it's wrong. That implementation is NOT exception safe. It's not general. Read books about implementing your own container before try to do things like this. Until then, just stay with std::list>.
