FUD means Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt and is often associated with people and companies creating false rumors about some thing that creates fear but is totally disconnected with the truth in some way...?
Me giving tips as to how people should take care and what steps to do before accepting patches for an Open Source project being FUD I cannot possibly understand at all...
We do those exact same steps ourselves in fact (for our Open Source project - Gaia Ajax Widgets)
