I Beat Ruby on Rails by 6 Months
Mike Mainguy claims to have developed a web application scaffold called Thrust from an xml database schema definition six months prior to the introduction of Ruby on Rails. Code generation from a model is an idea that predates RoR, by oh, FOREVER.
