In these unhappy days where Oracle is working hard to regain the trust of users, it seems a staggeringly bad idea that the Java updater installs the Ask toolbar by default. It's plainly bad for Java and can't possibly be worth the few clams in additional revenue. If you agree, please sign the petition

Those days almost every program tries to instal some kind of tooolbar or other spying application. This needs to end.

This is very strange : I have never seen this kind of screen on a JRE installer. Verified with JRE 7u13 too, x86 and x64 on Win7 and Win8. Where did you download JRE from ?? I get them from , always.
