1) Saying "Rails doesn't scale" is like saying "my car doesn't go infinitely fast".
2) Shut up about scalability, no one is using your app anyway.

Anyone can be a pseudo-intellectual potty mouth. Sounds like some loser from digg or slashdot who thinks he is smart because he can make fun of somebody.

If you're having scalability problems and blaming it on a single technology, chances are, you're doing it wrong.
Maybe some misleading concept is the key to implement it:

The title is crass but makes me laugh every time I see it. When timed right, a good rant is refreshing.
