misleading title. rock star != senior. senior is just some title the company gives you. a rock star can be fresh out of college or 60 years old. rock stars, the cream of the crop programmers, don't care about whether they're a "senior" level 3 programmer or just a programmer. the article is more about bad programmers w/ lots of experience. a good rock star programmer does not make things unnecessarily complex.
