Actually, it's really worth noting that VIM has had auto-complete (or intellisense if you prefer) for most scripting languages for a while now.

Sorry to burst your bubble but Intellisense is already here. ActiveState Komodo has "intellisense" (they call it AutoComplete). Beyond that, they also have CallTips (showing the method signature and even method documentation from rDoc) which makes it even nicer.
