I don't think this is a bad idea, but I think people should be cautious in using sites like these... While they can save the user from having to download the same script on every page s/he visits, what happens when CacheFile.net goes down (as we recently saw with TinyURL.com). Perhaps this could be used as a "first attempt" to get the URI needed but I would be sure to put some kind of check to make sure the file was able to be downloaded. If not, an outage which you have no control over could break your page.

phpuser, you can use the Coral CDN alternate hostname to alleviate the potential downtime issue. CacheFile.net's web site was updated with this information on Wednesday.
