I really, really wanted to love the new iPhone. See, the original was really wonderful, but still not quite good enough for me... I have an unnatural, unhealthy relationship with my smartphone, and I was hoping that the new Iphone would bring Apple's device at least up to par with what I have, but it fell short.

This *could* be developer related if we talked about what's important in the new iPhone 3G: the developer SDK, interface builder, XCode module, something which is going to change the game in mobile app development arena. It just blows away Symbian, Windows Mobile. I seriously disagree with you. It is faster. It's got GPS. It's got 3G. It's got third party app support. It has got App Store. It is for 199$. Maybe you should look deeper into the WWDC 2008 keynote -> the app demo's to be precise. The main feature is the new software SDK :) http://tinyurl.com/5e78oq
