Java Pet Store, as you all know is an example reference implementation of a distributed application in the "J2EE Blueprints" series. It is created by Sun and it helps developers understand best practices, design patterns, and architectural ideas for J2EE technologies. We have a Pet Store application for each revised version of J2EE specification. I also read in Geertjan's weblog that you can use the latest version of Pet Store 2.0 in NetBeans 5.5.
