J2ME Polish: GUI: Popup Screens
You can use any screen as a popup screen that overlays the previous shown screen. This contruct is typically used for alerts or for opening a subset of a current selection.

Wow, I love a good hidden feature! Near as I can tell, this page isn't linked-to anywhere on the J2ME Polish site, and yet it's exactly what I've been needing in my app, which I've built using Polish.
