Java and OSGi - Eclipse Equinox and Component Oriented Development
We've long wanted better ways to do package and component management in Java. OSGi has fast become a darling framework for doing clean packaging and service interfaces in Java. On the other hand, Sun is developing their own competing module options. Check out these two screencasts for an overview of what Eclipse is doing with OSGi.
