"Java EE 6 Is Nice, But It Is Too Late...." I see this statement more and more often. Its similar category to "EJB 3 are too heavy" :-).

Except: Sun plays rather a moderator role in the JCP and Java EE 6 in particular... Sun was always open for suggestions improvements - at least in EJB 3.1 / JPA 2 specs.

Mr. Bien again! IMO, EE has now a better chance than ever because all the Java hypes and gurus (and even some companies like Spring) are gone. People nowadays evaluate Java technology according to cost/benefit criteria, not buzz-word compatibility. That makes EE a winner on the server-side.
