One year ago today, shaking off a series of production niggles, the polished final edition of Java EE 7 rolled off the Oracle conveyor belt, following the finalisation of the JSR 342 specification on May 28, 2013. Of course, it’ll be a while before we’re actually getting stuck into the big number eight. For now though, there’s plenty to embrace in Java EE 7.
