Second part of the Java,Groovy,JavaFx series. The following table details the language features introduced in JSE 5 and how they may or may not be supported by Groovy and JavaFx.

javaFX is designed to be easy for visual things not to replace java...
why compare to groovy ?

Please refer to jfx's FAQ, where it clearly states that Groovy and other languages lack the proper abstractions for UI building. This series of posts shows that that claim is not completly true.

Still, this comparison does not seem to be about GUI building. to me, JavaFX should not be that rich. do the gui-animaiton stuff well, and leave rest (eg. performance reltated stuff) to the Java - (or groovy if any cares.).
