From bug report Bug 6585322 it seems that Java Browser Edition, Java Kernel will be available in jdk6 update 4.

I don't get it. The idea is (really, really) cool but why the hell this is included in JDK update 4? How will this be deployed on client side? This should be (almost) completly different project (installation package) that only installs 3.5 Mb and downloads the rest as needed.
Anyway, I think this is right direction for competing with flash.

I suppose the idea is that a JDK release is paired with a JRE release.
