This is a short review of the new Java SceneGraph API, which just got open sourced. This API holds a lot of promise, to make powerful (animations, translucency, rich content, audio, video) Java graphical apps really really easy to write. It's great to see Sun open source this API before it's release. It works with Java and JavaFX.
