Oracle's acquisition of Sun Microsystems and Sun's Java programming language could "wreak havoc" on the enterprise software market, according to a report by AMR Research, because so many vendors make applications that rely on Java.

Im so sorry for all this enterprises but also small business and developers that use Java. But if walk like a dead it must be dead.No Java SE spec means there is not Java standard, it is dead.
What Oracle will do with Java, It is unknown. But with their record that are 100% propetary and they buy and kill projects what we could expect.
