On the very first line the author skips to bashing Silverlight/Mono over 15 lines, with written skills that mimic that of a 13 year old schoolboy. Not sure what we are suppose to gain from reading this.
I think it was not bashing, more of like , lack of their support in my favoured platform i.e., linux , and after that it carries on with what the article is all about, as you say about the style of writing , I can't say much because it is too easy to praise myself without any judgement, but I promise you the rest of article doesn't have any comments on mono / silverlight, in the end I even apologized about my mono point, if somebody got offended, if you read the article and in case get to the end you can see that, I can very well remove the 1st para, but since this got 4 up votes I sense there are some people who doesn't sense anything wrong with those 10-15 lines.
No offense, but IMO you'll do well to lose the strong language. Also, I thought your assessments were kind of out there, and you didn't really make a case. Good of you to take the effort though.

As for the strong language part, I'll try to do that, thanks for pointing that out.
