vb programmers consider themselves superior to java programmers? if so, you need cycles, because i've never met a java programmer who didn't sneer at vb programmers.

it's quite telling that people find it easier to post movies of their javafx apps running than an actual jnlp. not a great deployment situation.

I find Java programmers really very arrogants above of VB, Cobol, C++ and even Perl. Im agree Ruby zealots are the more arrogant of all the chain. I have met Lisp folks and they are cool but If you really want a kick ass programming language and community that will be above of all that is Haskell.

that's exactly my point. it's easier all round to avoid this stuff for both the viewers and the writers :-(
