I miss Chet Haase and Romain Guy... When they showed you how to style things, they ended up with a beautiful, inspirational UI and had wow factor...

I know the functionality is there with LWUIT and JavaFX for some stunning UIs, but my gosh, you have to be able to visualise your way through some horrible examples such as this to see what is possible... Seriously, neon green, lime, and red on a dark aqua backround?

And then to say "We have seen how we can use Style, Theme, and Painter to create a set of visually attractive and uniform components"
