The goal of this article is to have a working JPA2 layer on top of a data model by writting 0 (yes ZERO) lines of code. Based on an opensource database containing 13 tables and 2 views, this page will show you how to have a ready-to-use backend (JPA2 entities associated metamodel, persistence.xml, JPA2 implementation specifics, maven and querydsl integration) very quickly (generation takes couple of seconds) using MinuteProject. It also shows how to enrich your model to have smarter backend (packaging, enumeration,...).
