jPersist 3.2.1 has a number of new features and improvements. Starting with improved metadata caching, and a new two pass class/table matching algorithm that makes false-positive matches highly unlikely. We’ve also added several new annotation types for mapping exceptions. With jPersist’s two-pass algorithm, the new inflector for pluralization, the added annotations, along with the new metadata caching, jPersist’s automatic mapping abilities are simply unsurpassed.

JPersist looks pretty interesting. Some simple tests I did tonight it seems very fast and easy to use. Biggest problem...Documentation is $100+ and there seems to be no mailing list or forums of any kind for it.

Thanks for the complement gdboling! $100 is for both manuals (JWebApp + jPersist) and anything else we write for the projects. However, the javadocs for both projects are in-depth and freely available.
The project is hosted at Sourceforge.net and has a number of bug reporting and forum options (you have to log in to post to them). And our project website has support that we respond to immediately.
The reality is that we are trying to make a living on software and services. Supposedly, open-source is a money maker, but after thousands of downloads and numerous complements on the software, there is no evidence as yet that open-source is good for business (we’re hoping for better).

I understand that dbulmore and I totally respect it. I just have a few questions at the moment so I'll try and fine the system in which you respond to and ask there. Thanks.
