JSR107 enters Early Draft Review after nearly 12 years - Greg Luck's Blog
On 23 October 2012 the JCP posted the Early Draft specification and API for JSR107 (javax.cache). This is almost 12 years since the JSR kicked off which makes it a record holder. Jokes aside JSR107 will standardise an increasingly important Java caching area which now has many vendors all with proprietary implementations.
