Latest release includes Line Numbering, Find and Replace Dialog, and support for C. C++, Ruby and Python Languages. All what you need is include the jar file in your classpath, and set your JEditorPane contentType to the language needed.

I'm a bit leery to see this project adding a lot of text editing specific functionality. It's good to see line numbering has been added, but find/replace and other editing actions I'm not so crazy about. I just want to display highlighted text, not edit it. So I don't need the extra bloat. That's just my .02.

I think Find is really useful to have. I don't think the extra editing capabilities still comprise "bloat" as it is actually useful for some. But don't worry, this will not be a full GUI editor with a 2Mb download jar for all languages in existence. :-)
