I voted down because of the screencast.. why can't people just write up , and show pictures. I hate watching these things.

Well, the main reason this is a screencast is because the site is dedicated to screencasts. Also words, images cannot convey the same meaning as video.

Unfortunately I can't watch (blocked by the corporate firewall). I far prefer word and image based tutorials anyway, as I can digest the information at my own pace. With screencasts and videos, I find I either have to play it several times because it's too fast for me, or I get frustrated because it's going to slow and I want to skip ahead to the meat of it.

I appreciate it's a screencast site and I'm not having a go at you, but I am a little frustrated with the trend to video/screencast. I guess I'm just old-fashioned! :)
