This is the third item by mrsunstudios.com in as many days, and these articles are useless. The article has nothing about actually Learning the Basics of Game Development -- it's pretty much a suggestion to use Flash and gives links to Amazon (with Mr. Sun's affiliate attached, no doubt) to buy books on game development. Stop posting this garbage.
