At some point (for me, maybe 12-13 years into my career), you accept a hard-learned fact. You let go of the romantic idea that your code will be perfect. Aiming for perfect code in a breathing application is like trying to aim at a bullseye from a moving train. And, even if you hit it perfectly, you know there will be a time to aim again.
