They're now listed on the OpenJDK page. Plan B has been confirmed by Mark Reinhold's Twitter.

I could have missed something, but I saw no mentioned of JSR 310, the Date and Time API, as something to be added to either jdk7 or jdk8.

The Twittersphere is telling me that 310 "might" be included in JDK8. Kinda sucks that they can't or won't get it into 7.

Sue oracle for delaying tactics and misuse of patent against opensource. Once they win the case they can charge everything for their patents, and thus kill Java; oops but wait thats good for evolution of new better platforms.

RTT, can you get a hint and just finally move on to a different forum? Start trolling the Ruby, Python or .Net people, whatever...we're all really sick and tired of reading your comments, which all sound like a broken record.

What happened to JWebPane?

reading between the lines forget about it. JavaFX 2.0 should be getting an advanced browser component (no doubt based on some of the JWebPane code) and you ought to be able to embed that in Swing if you like. It'll be a bit like embedding a heavyweight native control, but you'll be able to access and tweak the dom and browser widgets via the JavaFX Java apis (I'd hope). Something thats not always so easy from the existing embedded native browser components.

That's great but I was hoping to see JWebPane added to the javax.swing package.
