Technical Debt is widely regarded as a bad thing; that should be avoided or should be paid back as soon as possible. Should you? We don't think so. First, we compare Technical Debt with financial debt, explain its similarities with Strategic Design and which stakeholders it surprisingly has. Then we list the various possibilities to identify the Technical Debt in your code, which you perhaps have to take care of.
