This paper introduces you with the mashups. Mashups are new breed of Web applications and it allows the developer to develop interactive sites.

Wait, no. I've been curious about the buzz over mashups lately, so I was looking for a good intro. This is not it.
It says mashups are webapps built using data from different sources (okay, that's the summary part). But then it mentions only one example (using map data from Google Maps and other mapping APIs) -- which is the obvious first example -- then mentions combining existing photos or videos. How does combining videos result in a web application? Are they talking about building a site around YouTube videos, or something like that? What's the point?
There are no pointers to getting started creating mashups, if there are web application frameworks for supporting mashups, no pointers to examples of existing mashup sites online, etc..
And the poor grammar is grating, though I confess I'm something of a grammar nazi. :)

Sorry, but mashups are not new. The first Mashup Camp was a few YEARS ago.
