Microsoft's chief software architect has branded Google's Wave collaboration effort as "anti-web".
Ray Ozzie told the Churchill Club in California last week that Wave violates a principle he currently holds dear - that complexity is the enemy of the web.

The more I don't hear about how easy it will be for anyone to take advantage of Wave, the more I think it's just another hopelessly complex mashup GUI that a)only works half the time, and b)gets picked up by no one but a few eager beavers with time on ther hands.

And yet -- "Google Wave and Mesh are basically the same thing," Ozzie claimed.

This guy from MS should've been laughed off the stage; MS as an organization simply has no credibility to say anyone is 'anti-web'.
