After accidentally announcing it a day early, Microsoft shipped Windows 8 Release Preview last night, the final version of the OS before its official release. We’re using it right now -- as expected, it’s a pretty slick experience, with elements of the much-vaunted Metro interface having been fine-tuned since February’s Consumer Preview. Some of the biggest changes, however, come in the browser. Win 8 RP brings with it the sixth “platform preview” of Internet Explorer 10, and Microsoft has made some bold moves.
