At issue is the future of JavaScript running in the web browser.

I am not a Microsoft apologist, but I do know a lot of smart guys who work there. I can assure you that MS is not lazy, and that they do have a strategy, though it may not make sense right now.

Interestingly, MS rescues JavaScript from being molded into EcmaScript 4. Have the voters for this link understood this?
