Military Pay Calculator - as a reporting macro
This is a great example of how you can make very complex calculations a single trivial call in a reporting system. Without the ability to add complex macros like this, calculations like military pay had to be added to the datasource. With the addition of macros, it becomes a simple call in the report template.
