Mozilla's Thunderbird 3.0 email client has been released. The application has some great new features, but would you use it in preference to your favorite webmail system?

A good e-mail client, with gmail support, may even replace Mac/mail,
But the link for 64 bit machines is difficult to find.

Thunderbird 3 has support for other emails also... they will automatically fill in the server details...
