never understood why people seem to like TIJ so much. Myself I can't stand Bruce Eckel and his writing style (let alone what he teaches).
And where's the JLS in that list? And the other Sun offerings that are available free of charge?

Ever tried reading the JLS - yeah it's make a better doorstop than book IMNSHO.

yes, I've read the JLS. And to really understand how things tick you need it at least once in a while, it's the ultimate reference.
