Basically, when you search for a domain name enough times, or when enough people search for a domain name via network solutions, it is now confirmed that NetworkSolutions will auto-register your idea based on your search.

An easily predictable scam.

Why would anybody vote this article down? Do they actually enjoy having their ideas stolen out from underneath them?

The article is puerile and annoying.
"Uh-oh… I smell a BOYCOTT!!!"
"..it’s going to be impossible to put out this iFire, regardless of money spent on PR.. Looks like rain today, bitches!!"
[Wait, wouldn't they *want* rain, if they have an iFire? Ah no -- I guess they'd need iRain.]

I guess I won't vote *against*, but... aren't there any better articles out there stirring up trouble for NetSol?

I don't understand why an educated developer would use Network Solutions anyway. Expensive, shady, unethical...

I was a not-so educated developer at the time (davidwalsh), and my article is pretty much 14-year old myspace page calibur (so i get that part jtheory), but then that's why I write code and not (so much) English. Also, just want to add IT DOES TAKE iRain to put out an iFire!! (Don't write blogs stoned off your butt, kids!)
