JFXStudio just announced their new contest. Harkening back to the demo coders of yore, this time the challenge is to do something cool in 30 lines of code. The theme will be announced on the 8th and the deadline for submission is the 30th of Sept.

one of the most useless contests ever. For software quality, there is exactly no value as such in numbers (be it of-lines, or of-characters, be it upper or lower limit). Attracting scrip kiddies to waste even their time.
My 2cents, Euro ;-)

Useless for what? Building an enterprise application? Sure! For helping others learn a brand new language, and having fun while doing it? Not useless at all.

No one would write a production app like this. The constraint is to make it challenging. Do more with less. And to develop skills. And, of course, to be fun!
