At JavaOne last year, members of the JSR 277 expert group had a face-to-face meeting. JSR 277 is the controversial Sun-led effort to define a standard module system for Java. It is controversial because many people (including me) think that Java already has a standard module system, namely OSGi, and the last thing we need is two competing module systems.
