One subject that inevitably pops up every now and again on various blogs (and most notably, reddit) is bad code.  Bad code comes in various forms.  It can implement any or many anti-patterns, be outdated, or outright buggy and unmaintainable.   We often view bad code as the result of a single mind unsupervised for too long.
